Myakka Valley Ranches offers a way of life all it's own. The subdivision is comprised of approximately three hundred 5+ acre parcels, with privately owned and maintained paved roads. The area is designed to accommodate horses, with easements on both sides of the 17 miles of paved roads designated as riding trails as well as several miles of other trails winding through our neighborhood. The roads have low traffic which creates an ideal setting for bike riding and jogging. Two private waterfront parks are located within the subdivision for resident's use.

Myakka Valley Ranches is uniquely situated adjacent to the 28,875 acre Myakka River State Park, an oasis of natural Florida vegetation. The park contains miles of hiking trails, two lakes, and a wild & scenic river. It is not uncommon to see native wildlife species: gopher tortoises, alligators, armadillos, fox, deer, otter, and even an occasional bald eagle.
